Please your palate, step into your stride and enjoy the largest outdoor Culinary Affair in South Florida during the 4th Annual Boca Raton Wine & Food Festival on Friday, November 8th, Saturday, November 9th, and Sunday, November 10th, 2013. This year promises to be a party no one will ever forget with five very special events over three days. Friday night kicks off the festivities with two unique events, the exclusive Dinner Under The Stars... A Four-Course Food & Wine Affair; 7 PM to 10 PM, and the Vineyard Party... A Vine to Glass Affair; 7:30 PM to 10 PM. Then on Saturday morning we will host Perfect Pairings... A Private Pairing Affair from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and that evening, 70 chefs from the tri-county area converge upon the festival grounds for the incredible Grand Tasting... A Culinary Affair; 6 PM to 10 PM. Sunday morning join us at the Jazz Bubbles & Brunch... A Social Affair; 11:00 AM to 2 PM.
The Grand Tasting
As you stroll through the festival on Saturday feeling the balmy breeze while the sun sets you will be embraced in sensory delight. The 1/6 Mile Distance will be transformed into a lavish walkway of elaborately decorated countries and regions that come alive through a gastronomic journey of tastes, sounds and visions! Meet and mingle among 70 Chefs from the tri-county area as they prepare their most beloved dishes from 6 World Regions and a Sweet Endings Village, sponsored by Sheila G's Brownie Brittle. Premier vintners will offer tastings of some of the world’s finest varietals of wine. Cultural music and décor will take you to places afar. Live cooking demonstrations in Kitchen Alley and enjoy boutique experiences with the festival sommeliers in the Sensory Garden. Visit the Farmers Market, stroll through the Retail and Business Shopping Bazaar, and visit the outdoor Art Gallery. This year you can learn the art of cooking with rum in the Spirits Region and enjoy a varietal of seasonal craft beers. Enjoy Live Entertainment and dancing at the Main Entertainment Stage & Lounge with local songstress Kendra Fulmer opening up for the Urban Gypsy Band.

On Friday night we are hosting an exclusive Dinner Under The Stars. It’s about atmosphere. It’s about food. It’s about wine. And now, seven south Florida chefs are bringing their culinary talents to your table. Friday evening includes a four-course dinner prepared live to please your palate as you are introduced to perfectly paired wines by our seven Sommeliers. An intimate number of guests will choose the region of their choice for the evening; America, Italy, France, and Spain. After your culinary experience, you’ll make your way through the Retail and Business Shopping Bazaar and Art Gallery. Afterwards you’ll head to the Main Entertainment Stage & Lounge for Dancing. Guests will have FREE access to the Vineyard Party. The Dinner Under The Stars has Limited Seating Available to ensure an intimate experience.

If you want to take advantage of the experience that we have created join us on Friday night for the Vineyard Party. While walking through the vineyard, the sights, sounds and aromas transport guests to Sonoma and Napa Valley. There you will find a lavish selection of cuisines prepared by our chefs along with plenty of wine varietals to enjoy while watching the live cooking demonstrations in Kitchen Alley. Guests can hang out in the Wine Sensory Garden with the festival sommeliers for a sensory wine tasting experience. There is something for everyone’s palate…enjoy varietals of craft beers and cordials in the Spirits Region. Stroll into the Farmer’s Market for fresh herbs and organic produce. The outdoor Retail and Business Shopping Bazaar and Art Gallery is open all evening. At the Main Entertainment Stage & Lounge enjoy the vibe of The Valerie Tyson Band. This will be a fun-filled Vine to Glass Affair for a limited number of guests.
The Vineyard Party's Executive Chef Dave Stample has been requested to attend the New York Wine and Food Festival in October and will represent the BRW&FF with his culinary expertise.
Friday will definitely be amazing, we created a night with two different price points, but with equally exciting appeal for everyone to enjoy!
Saturday morning join us for Perfect Pairings where our Executive Culinary Team explores the art of pairing food and wine. The festival sommeliers will conduct aromatic experiences to identify the fruits, vegetables and herbs that inspire the food and wine pairings. The Sensory Garden is a new component this year which allows us to expand our commitment to food and wine education. Pairing knowledge will be elevated while tasting Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris (Grigio), Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel (including Primitivo), Syrah, Petite Sirah and Dessert Wines. At each wine station a variety of paired small bites will be sampled as Sommeliers teach about scents, nuances, flavors and pairing, providing endless entertaining techniques. The Farmers Market will be open showcasing fresh herbs, spices and organic produce and seasonal perennials so you can take a piece of the festival home with you. A Private Pairing Affair wouldn’t be complete without the feeling of being in one of Europe’s piazzas with our outdoor Retail and Business Shopping Bazaar and Art Gallery…they are open throughout the festivities. Enjoy live cooking demonstrations in Kitchen Alley and acoustic guitar sounds at the Main Entertainment Stage & Lounge by local favorite Gyorgy Lakatos.
Executive Chef Wes Bonner from Publix Apron's Cooking School leads this experience along with industry guests.
And, for those of you who like to wake up on Sunday mornings to enjoy a delectable brunch we have the perfect atmosphere waiting for you! Start your Sunday at the Jazz Bubbles & Brunch. Luxuriate in the chic, European breakfast, featuring an array of brunch stations, including unique fruit preparations and fresh catch dishes. Cheers to festival friends, both old and new, while enjoying Sparkling Wines, Mimosas and Bloody Marys. Don’t be shy…you can go up for seconds!

Valerie Tyson Band are “PROFESSIONALS AT THEIR BEST”
VTB is the brand new revamped band of the Valerie Tyson Band. This brand new line up has become a perfect blend of old and new that has merged with a unique and delightful blend of perfection to provide its audiences with all styles of music from the 50’s to today’s top 40 radio hits!
Each member brings a combination of experience, vocal and instrumental skills that has placed this group at the top of the list, whether it be for weddings, corporate events, private parties, concerts or clubs.
Dubbed “The Concert Queen”, Valerie and the band have been featured in every major concert event in South Florida including “Sunfest” where they had the pleasure of opening up for Earth, Wind, and Fire. “Valerie Tyson Band Is Bound For Glory”…The Palm Beach Post “She Will Take The Audience And Wrap Them Around Her Finger”… The Sun Sentinel ”Her Flame- Thrower Vocals Threaten To Burn The Joint Down As She Raids The Repertoires Of Such R&B Greats As James Brown And Aretha Franklin”…The Miami Herald
The band has also opened up for Al Green, Spyro Gyra, and Al Jarreau and has also played and been a part of various live and recording projects.
Valerie is the leader and founder of the VTB brand which also includes a 13 piece show band called “The Soul Experience”
Valerie believes in giving each event its own “special touch” and making each client happy because the band and the audience should become one to make every event memorable, happy, exciting, “get down tonight”, shake your groove thing” dance the night away fun!!!
VTB is a high energy band, and no matter what the occasion the band “can” and “will” keep the party rocking all night long!
'Perfect Pairings' Entertainment:
Gyorgy Lakatos, was born in Budapest, Hungary. He is a world renowned musician. The guitar and cimbalom are his proficiency. He is a songwriter, performer and a "Gypsy Heart" He will romance any audience with his suave approach to making the guitar sing like an angel. He has traveled throughout the world entertaining many audiences. He now resides in Florida and is making a name for himself in the United States. His agile hands caress the strings of the guitar in a manner never before seen. He redefines music with his supernatural talent. He plays the Cimbalom since a very young child. His family members are all musicians, most known world wide, and he carries a tradition passed down through generations. "We are all Musicians" Gyorgy says. When asked about his music he has only one thing to say. "It's the air that I breathe, without it, I can't exist." If you haven't experienced his music, then come on out and bask in his glorious melodies and join the trance of the GYPSY HEART.... Gyorgy Lakatos.
'Grand Tasting' and 'Jazz Bubbles & Brunch' Entertainment:
Urban Gypsy Band is a cutting edge South Florida based Flamenco Jazz Fusion group which performs a style that combines the fire and romance of Flamenco and the sophistication of Contemporary Jazz, driven by exotic and urban rhythms from around the world. The group regularly performs at the top venues and resorts throughout the region, and is consistently recognized for their unique sound, which combines the smooth sounds of the Acoustic Guitar, Saxophone and Flute, with energetic and exotic grooves.
Urban Gypsy guitarist, Islay Rodriguez, has been performing throughout South Florida since age 16, and he plays with a refinement and passionate style not often encountered. John Michalak, the group's Grammy Nominated saxophonist and flautist, has a unique style which is borne out of the vast variety of genres he has performed throughout his career, from Blues to Rock, Reggae, Jazz- traditional, contemporary and Latin, and everything in between. John has performed around the world with some of the biggest stars in music, including Ricky Martin, Gloria Estefan, KC and The Sunshine Band, Julio Iglesias, Carlos Santana, Patti LaBelle, and Jon Secada. The group's drummer, Michael Rivero, has performed at major events throughout South Florida for the past 20 years, and has opened for world renowned artist such as Carlos Santana, Jon Secada, and keith Urban. Michael is a versatile and passionate musician who brings excitement and positive energy to every Urban Gypsy performance.
Kendra Fulmer is an 19-year old singer/songwriter from Boca Raton, Florida, and is currently attending Lynn University. Kendra has performed at the Mizner Park Amphitheatre and Caldwell Theatre in Boca Raton, Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn, and most recently opened for Australian Pop singer, Cody Simpson at Revolution Live in Ft. Lauderdale. She currently performs at Caruso Ristorante every Friday and Renzo's of Boca every Sunday evening singing the best of Jazz, Broadway and Pop.
Kendra is passionate about writing and recording her own pop music and has already released four original songs, "For You", "Dance With You", "Here to Stay" and "Sandstorm".
Jabal Uffelman is a native Floridian who studied guitar at Florida State
University's acclaimed music program. He currently plays with a
Brazilian music ensemble at the Antonio Adolfo School of Music. Much of
his time, when he's not working as a physician in Fort Lauderdale, he
enjoys exploring the vast repertoire of Classical guitar.
